Yes, the nursery has special rules.
1. Kits and queens ONLY in the nursery. The only exceptions for this is an apprentice cleaning the den, a warrior visiting his own kits, or one of the aforementioned bringing prey into the nursery. A thread that starts by bringing in prey and immediately turns into an “I going to just fool around because I can” thread does NOT count.
1.5. Basically, no apprentices or warriors are allowed in the nursery unless they're bringing prey or moss, cleaning bedding, or visiting their own kits, period.
2. No more than 2 active threads about changing bedding or bring in prey at a time. Active means having a post no more than 2 days old. If the latest post is more than 2 days old, it is no longer active in this context.
3. Kits are NOT allowed outside of camp. Yes, adventuresome kits might dream of escaping the camp and going out into the territory, but unless it’s a special circumstance involving a plot, it will NOT actually happen.
4. Kits can NOT fall in love. They are little kids, basically. While, at most, a small child might have a crush on another, they don’t love each other past friend love. So, basically, just don't even infringe upon the topic.
IF YOU BREAK RULE ONCE
A staff member will reply to it with this post:
(insert staff member’s cat’s name here) was walking around the nursery when s/he smelled something curious. An apprentice/warrior. S/he was immediately highly alarmed, aware of how small some of the kits were compared to apprentices/warriors, and a/n apprentices/warrior could possibly hurt the kits. S/he hurried over to (insert name of apprentice/warrior) and sharply mewed, “Out with you. You're not allowed in here. You might hurt the smaller kits,” before quickly nudging them out of the nursery, successfully sending them on their way before hurrying back off again.
Continuing in the thread after this post if you are the offending apprentice or warrior would be highly unwise. Kits already in the thread may continue the thread if they wish too.
These rules will be modified if it becomes necessary.
If you break these rules, your thread may be locked. Don't ask us to unlock it-we won't
